DTC leaves Thai market

The decision of the Diamond Trading Company to withdraw marketing support from 2007 in Thailand, Spain, Germany, Canada and United Kingdom may have come as a shock to retailers in those markets, but to the DTC it was a calculated move that is entirely in line with the goals of their Supplier of Choice.
They are realigning their marketing focus to those markets which represent 80 percent of the world demand for diamond jewellery.
The remaining markets where DTC still provides marketing support are: China, France, Gulf region, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan and the US.
It's very difficult to believe for the sightholders that the DTC will not be there anymore in the future. So they'll be forced to do their promotions whitout the DTC.
